Our Pack

Brought together through intersections in the fight against human trafficking, we are relentless in our mission to support survivors and create a truly free world.

  • Kim Figueroa, Board Member

Kim Figuroa endured a traumatic and abusive childhood, followed by horrific experiences in foster care during her adolescence. Kim aged out of the system into homelessness, leading to nearly six years of exploitation for sex, labor, and drug trafficking. Kim suffered PTSD and mental health illnesses, leading to drug abuse and feelings of no hope and worthlessness. She has since been able to use her expertise, knowledge, and lived experiences to assist FBI and local law enforcement with cases and advocacy within the judicial system, DCF, DJJ, and others. The Attorney General's Office recognized Kim as Survivor Advocate of the Year 2023. She has also received the Evelyn Memorial Award from the Florida Dept of Law Enforcement from NMEC and many more awards for her work combatting human trafficking. Highly sought-after on local and national levels, Kim sits on five human trafficking boards and serves as an advisory leader. Her passion is to fight human trafficking, serving organizations with the same mission.
